Two tails, one in deep blue stones and one in clear, set at the two open ends of the band so they pass each other at the front of the finger. Nothing joins them - the gap between the tails is what makes the ring adjustable.
The blue tail sits in a blackened setting, which is what keeps the colour deep instead of letting the silver bleach it out. The band itself is 1.4 mm, fine enough to stack, and opens or closes gently by hand to move through roughly four sizes.
