The band does not close. It passes itself at the top, and where the two ends cross, a pear cut blue stone is bezel set on each one, tips pointing in opposite directions. Because the ends sit at slightly different heights, the stones read as two separate drops rather than a symmetrical pair.
Both arms are pave set with small clear stones that run down from the blues and stop before the base of the band, so the underside stays smooth against the finger. The 1.80 mm band is open at the back, which is what lets it flex through several sizes.
