The heart is paved row by row through a full spectrum - violet and pink across the top curves, orange and yellow through the middle, green and blue running down to the point. Read from top to bottom it is a gradient rather than a scatter of coloured stones, which is what keeps a rainbow piece from looking like confetti.
At 10.50 x 11.00 mm it is small enough to sit high and stay quiet under a collar, and the stones do the talking when the light hits. The chain measures 40 cm with a 5 cm extender, so it works as a choker-length piece or the shortest layer in a stack. Solid 925 sterling silver, 2.15 g.
