A whale tail caught at the moment it breaks the surface - the two flukes sweep out and up, and the whole thing is worn tilted rather than flat, which is why it catches light along one edge and stays in shadow along the other. Nothing is engraved on it; the shape carries it.
It measures 14.50 x 19.00 mm, so it sits comfortably in the hollow of the collarbone without dominating a neckline. The only stones are in the narrow bail above the tail - a short line of pave that separates the polished silver from the chain and stops the piece reading as one flat block of metal.
